Team Shalva is a fun-filled three-day weekend experience that unites riders of all backgrounds and ages, helping them prepare to ride in the GFNY Jerusalem bike race. Team Shalva is committed to getting you to the finish line of your track goal; Gran Fondo (130 km) or Medio Fondo (70 km). During the training process, bikers raise money for Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.
Shalva is dedicated to providing transformative care for individuals with disabilities, empowering their families and promoting social inclusion.
Non-denominational and free of charge, Shalva provides an all-encompassing range of services for thousands of individuals on a weekly basis from infancy to adulthood. Shalva supports and enables families to raise their children with disabilities within the family framework. Through nearly three decades of award-winning programs, Shalva is an indispensable element of Israel's kind-hearted and innovative landscape.
Team Shalva is the ultimate win-win experience. You get the reward of choosing a goal and crossing your finish line with a well-earned sense of accomplishment. You get to help thousands of Shalva kids and their family members get all the services and support they need, all while being a part of GFNY Jerusalem’s first charity team and everything that entails (parties, friendships and many amazing experiences).
